This page contains important disclaimers that apply to all content published on the AMAR Home website at amarhome.com.bd.
Please read this page carefully. It explains the limits of what our website content represents, what it does not represent, and what you should and should not do based on what you read here.
If you have a specific clinical question about yourself or a family member, contact our team directly at +8801976-131313 or pr.amarhome@gmail.com. A real person will respond.
The Content on This Website Is Not Medical Advice
This is the most important disclaimer on this page. Read it first.
Everything published on amarhome.com.bd, including all descriptions of addiction, treatment methods, detox processes, withdrawal symptoms, recovery timelines, therapy approaches, medication, and mental health topics, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
It is not medical advice.
It is not a clinical diagnosis. It is not a treatment recommendation. It is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified psychiatrist, medical officer, addiction specialist, or any other licensed healthcare professional.
The information on this website reflects general knowledge about addiction treatment in Bangladesh. It does not take into account your specific medical history, the patient’s specific substance use pattern, co-occurring mental health conditions, current medications, or any other individual clinical factor.
Never make a medical decision based solely on information you read on this website.
If you are concerned about substance addiction in yourself or a family member, consult a qualified medical professional who can assess the individual situation directly. You can also call our admission coordinator at +8801976-131313, who will give you an honest professional opinion about whether AMAR Home’s programs are appropriate for your specific situation.
Using This Website Does Not Create a Doctor-Patient Relationship
Reading content on this website, filling out a contact form, sending an email, or making a phone call to AMAR Home does not create a clinical or doctor-patient relationship between you and AMAR Home or any member of its medical team.
A clinical relationship is established only when:
- A patient is formally admitted following a written Admission Agreement signed by the patient’s guardian
- A clinical assessment has been conducted by our medical officer or psychiatrist
- A treatment plan has been formally initiated
Until that point, all information provided by AMAR Home staff in response to inquiries is general guidance, not clinical advice specific to a diagnosed condition.
This distinction matters. Information shared during an initial phone consultation is based on what the family tells us. It cannot account for what a direct clinical examination would reveal. Our admission coordinator is trained in addiction medicine, but her initial consultation is an intake conversation, not a clinical diagnosis.
We Cannot Guarantee Treatment Outcomes
AMAR Home’s published 55% sobriety rate at two-year follow-up is an honest reflection of our aggregate program outcomes across 1,154 patients treated since 2012.
This figure is a measure of historical performance across a diverse patient population. It is not a prediction, promise, or guarantee for any individual patient.
Treatment outcomes for substance addiction depend on a complex set of factors including:
- The type of substance or substances involved
- The duration and severity of the addiction
- The patient’s physical health at the time of admission
- Co-occurring mental health conditions (depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis)
- The patient’s personal motivation and engagement with the program
- The family environment the patient returns to after discharge
- Whether the patient completes the full program including aftercare
- Circumstances and stressors in the patient’s life post-discharge
AMAR Home applies evidence-based clinical methods, qualified medical oversight, and a structured therapeutic program to give each patient the best possible foundation for recovery. We cannot control all the variables that determine whether that foundation holds after discharge.
Relapse is a clinically recognized feature of addiction. It is not a sign that treatment failed or that further treatment is pointless. Many patients who relapse after one treatment episode achieve sustained recovery after subsequent intervention.
Do not interpret our published success rate as a promise that a specific patient will or will not recover. Ask our clinical team for an honest individual assessment based on that patient’s specific history.
Blog Articles and Educational Content
AMAR Home publishes blog articles and educational content on topics related to addiction, recovery, mental health, family support, and substance use in Bangladesh.
This content is written for general educational purposes. Specific disclaimers apply:
Authorship and Review
Blog articles are authored by AMAR Home’s clinical team members including our CEO Nayeem Ahmed, Admission Coordinator Dr. Tasmima Hossain Disha, and clinical counselors. Author credentials are listed on each article.
The clinical expertise of our authors reflects their training and experience in addiction treatment. It does not substitute for a direct clinical consultation with a licensed psychiatrist or physician.
Accuracy and Currency**
We make reasonable efforts to ensure our blog content is accurate at the time of publication. The field of addiction medicine evolves. Clinical guidelines, research findings, and treatment recommendations change over time.
Content published on this website may not reflect the most current clinical research or guidelines at any given point after publication. We recommend consulting current clinical resources and qualified professionals for the most up-to-date guidance.
Individual Variation
All content describing addiction symptoms, withdrawal experiences, recovery timelines, and treatment effects refers to general patterns across patient populations. Individual experiences vary significantly. A description of typical yaba withdrawal symptoms, for example, does not predict what any specific person will experience.
Referenced Statistics
Statistics cited in our content, including figures about drug addiction prevalence in Bangladesh, yaba seizure data, and national addiction rates, are sourced from public government reports, published research, and established health authorities. We provide source references where possible.
These figures are cited for educational context. Their accuracy depends on the data collection methods of the originating source. AMAR Home does not independently verify third-party statistical data.
This Website Is Not an Emergency Service
This is critical. Read it carefully.
amarhome.com.bd is an informational website for a private residential addiction treatment center. It is not a crisis hotline. It is not an emergency medical service. It is not a mental health intervention service.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger due to:
- Drug or alcohol overdose
- Acute withdrawal with medical complications
- Suicidal ideation or self-harm
- Any other life-threatening situation
Do not wait. Do not browse this website. Take immediate action:
- Call 999 (Bangladesh National Emergency Service)
- Go to the nearest hospital emergency department
- Call Kaan Pete Roi, Bangladesh’s mental health support line, at 01779-554391
AMAR Home is not equipped to provide emergency response services. We do not have an ambulance service. Our phone line is staffed during working hours for admission consultations and program inquiries.
If you reach us after hours in a crisis situation, please go directly to the nearest emergency department and contact us on the next working day to discuss residential treatment options once the immediate crisis is medically stabilized.
Testimonials and Patient Stories
AMAR Home publishes patient success stories on this website. These stories are shared with the full knowledge and consent of the individuals involved. All names used in published stories are pseudonyms to protect patient privacy.
These stories reflect individual experiences. They are not typical outcomes guaranteed for all patients.
Recovery journeys vary enormously between individuals. A story describing a patient who completed treatment and returned to full professional and academic functioning reflects that person’s specific outcome. It should not be interpreted as a representation of what every patient will experience.
Testimonials and reviews published on this website and our Google Business Profile are from real patients and family members. We do not edit, fabricate, or selectively curate positive reviews to hide negative feedback. We do not compensate any individual for publishing a positive review.
Partner Organizations and Third-Party References
AMAR Home’s website references partner hospitals and diagnostic centers including Ibn Sina Hospital, Popular Diagnostic Centre Uttara, and Health and Healing. These references indicate a working clinical relationship for patient referrals where specialist care is needed.
They do not represent a formal endorsement of everything those organizations publish or offer. AMAR Home does not receive financial compensation from partner organizations for patient referrals.
References to the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC), ASSIST Certification Services (ACS), the Federation of Therapeutic Communities in Asia (FTCA), and Accred Services International Board Europe (ASIB) are for credential verification purposes only. These organizations do not endorse or recommend AMAR Home’s services beyond the specific certifications and memberships they have issued.

Pricing Information
Pricing information published on this website, including on our pricing page, reflects our current standard rates at the time of publication.
Prices are subject to change without advance notice on the website. The confirmed price for any specific patient’s program is that which is stated in the signed Admission Agreement on admission day.
Do not make financial plans based solely on website pricing without first confirming the current applicable rate directly with our admissions team.
No Legal or Financial Advice
Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice, financial advice, or professional advice of any kind other than general information about addiction treatment services.
Our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are written to be informative and clear. They are not a substitute for independent legal counsel.
If you have a legal question about admission rights, patient rights under the Bangladesh Mental Health Act 2018, confidentiality obligations, or any other legal matter related to addiction treatment, consult a qualified legal professional in Bangladesh.
